When Lauren stumbles into bed with her college girlfriend, a tender moment turns haunting as echoes of a past assault by another woman flood back. Now she must confront the silence surrounding sexual violence between women and the terrifying vulnerability of learning to trust again.
As the script supervisor on this set, I was working on continuety supervision and keeping reports of the matchcuts for this film. I created the reports for the editor to follow in post production as I am their on set advocate.
"The Space Between Touch" was a unique set experience with their focus on obtaining their EMA green seal. I loved wearing my "pratice safe sets" tee shirt while working on this project to show my support for the short. The premise of sexual assault within the LGBTQ+ community was a powerful topic that I was honored to be apart in shedding light on.
